Try to level up the skill, health and stamina before the bloodtinge, until of course you get the chikage, there are no early game weapons which will use the bloodtinge so you better start only leveling up the bloodtinge once you get the chikage.

Since Chikage can hit harder than any other weapon with high BT, guns can hit hard from a range, and Arcane has utility, like stunlock etc. it's probably the easiest runthrough of story+all chalices I've done. Thanks all. Quality builds are builds that are based around quality weapons (weapons that scale evenly in strength & skill). So typically you'd have both skill and strength at the soft caps of 25 to get moderate scaling from the weapon, as opposed to focusing on 1 damage stat to 50. Examples of weapons: stake driver, Ludwigs holy blade, etc.

This is the one that I'm going to build, BL 110. I've messed around with the scaling and I've found that the most reasonable additional damage you get before caps reduce you to numbers that make levelling up worthless while also giving you some utility are as follows. 25/25/40: Best part is you can pretty much pick up any weapon and imbue it with some sort of element and have it do decent damage.
